Shanghai ShangKuan Corp. was founded in 1924 with a long history. It has become a backbone enterprise in China's clothing and home textile accessories production and was among the first lot of old system transferring to stock cooperative system since 1994. The factory has a strong technical and productive capability of various elastic webbing products equipped with some Italian COMEZ knitting work machine, Switzerland high speed fabric weaving machine, computerized jacquard machines, ribbon looms with shuttles, and Karl Mayer double-needle ribbon looms etc.
We can produce all kinds of webbing, elastics non-elastic,weaving or non-weaving, with various types of raw materials required by different users. We also produce rubber thread, rubber band, round rubber stripe and rubberized fabric, which have been widely used in clothing, bed-clothes, shoes and caps, bags, hand weavings, furniture, electricity, vehicles and medical care, etc.
The factory covers an area of 6800 square meters with perfect workhouse and holds a strong team of scientific research technicians mainly from Shanghai East China University for developing and exploring new products. The factory is taken as a base of scientific experiment. It's sub enterprises are: Tao Pu branch factory, knitting branch factory, Tooth Floss Weaving Factory, shuttle loom factory, trademark lace factory, rubber & plastic factory etc.
